This is Saskia's bird Marley who also came to visit us yesterday. He was very shy at first and a little frightened by so many BIG people in Room One. He is still a baby as he is only eight months old. Saskia thinks he is a cute little fella. He looks like he has a yellow mohawk hairdo. He is a cockateil with very special markings on him.
In Room One we have another Marley. He is a lion who sings "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and it always makes us feel good when we hear the song.
Rico thinks both Marleys are cute.
Then we find out Summah has a cat called Marley. So now we know of THREE Marleys.
Hi Room 1,
ReplyDeleteI was very lucky to meet Marley (the bird), when he was going home from school with Saskia. What a lucky bird to go on trips to school. You won't believe it Room 1, but Mrs Scott knows a rabbit called Marley, who has just had 4 baby rabbits! Marley must be a very popular name at the moment. Thank you for your comment on our pirate page. We are enjoying our pirate stories and songs. We have each got a pirate name!
Who do you think your next visitor will be? Isn't school wonderful? There is always something new to learn about!
Mrs Scott and Room 2
Well today we saw some more pirates around but they were not from Room 2. You must have started a new trend.
DeleteHi Room 1
ReplyDeleteIt is so lovely to have surprising visitors... you learnt so much about each other!
I wonder why Marley is such a popular name?
Mrs Paton
Saskia's Marley rhymes with Charlie and he is a colourful bird who lives in Auckland. Room 1's Marley is named after Bob Marley who wrote and sang lots of songs like Three Little Birds....hmmmm birds again!
DeleteHi Room 1
ReplyDeleteWow! I was so surprised to check your blog and see that wonderful photo of Saskia and her cockateil Marley. How funny that you have three Marley's in room 1!
What other pets do you have in room 1?
Mrs Natusch
Most of us have one pet at least at home, some have more. We should do a survey on pets! Sometimes Karen's cat comes visiting. We all like and care for animals.
